The Chapel On The Pond is a non-denominational Christian church and center for worship and friendship at 17 Pond Road, North Truro, MA. It is part of the vision of and underwritten by Boathouse Ministries, a small public charity, section 501(c)3, that exists to serve, to encourage others to seek God, to build up, to foster community, and to love.
Here's the Schedule and Events calendar:
Dress is casual. The service is informal. The atmosphere respectful.
Jesus is exalted as Lord. His peace is apparent. His love never fails.
Come expecting to encounter the living God of Truth through the power of His
Holy Spirit.
Welcome to The Chapel On The Pond.
Throughout the year we enjoy weekly worship, prayer and Bible study at the Chapel, combined with a variety of events, and activities that promote Judeo-Christian values and celebrate life in our town. We see ourselves as "a beacon on the hill.”
Matthew 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden." (ESV)
We are a community sanctuary for rest, renewal, and re-commitment. Our garden is open to the public to enjoy. In the summer months the church doors are most always open for quiet times of reflection, meditation and prayer. Life celebrations, such as weddings, regularly take place. Every soul is welcome at The Chapel On The Pond, for we are all made in the image of God.
Adapted from a prayer found in Our Lady of Perpetual Help
This church is open to all... a home in the heart of the village for every child of God... a sanctuary in the midst of the people for all who seek righteousness, comfort, love and peace. Here may the youth see visions. Here may the old dream dreams. Here may the pilgrim renew his strength and the weary find rest. And by this holy house beside the pond may all men know that God is in the midst of us. Amen.
"They felt so happy and blessed to start of their marriage at such a beautiful and welcoming place."
"We can’t thank you enough. The sun shone down on those two kids, and we really felt God’s blessing and love."
"We’ll always be grateful!"

The Living Water Feature Blog was conceived in Dana Point, CA. in 2015.
Kathy Valleau had just graduated
seminary and began the travel odyssey that was to carry Bob and Kathy (founders of Boathouse Ministries) from
the Pacific across the North Atlantic to the Mediterranean on a quest to reach the Holy Land as cruisers on Vesper. Each day, each new location,
each personal contact brings spiritual inspiration which Kathy tries to capture in pictures and share
from her heart.
While we cannot possibly participate in every sponsorship opportunity that crosses our
desk, we wouldn’t want to miss a need, an event, or a vision that complements our mission.
